A lot of people ask what’s a good way to hold their investing costs down and the answer’s pretty straightforward: Invest in index funds. The fees are lower. There’s no trading, so that you don’t have trading costs. You don’t incur taxes, if you’re talking about after-tax investing. There’s just a whole lot of reasons to do that.

And so that’s a pretty easy answer. Index funds are the best way to hold your investing costs down.
